Content & Media Manager (Annual Contract)

Hello. We’re looking for a Content & Media Manager to join us, who will work directly with Audi Canada’s marketing team.

You are

  • Someone with a passion for content, on the pulse of social media trends. You live and breathe content, share a fresh perspective, and possess a drive to improve and grow.

  • You’re a creative thinker and visual storyteller who understands the fine balance of meeting business objectives while maintaining creative expression.

  • Someone who knows the ins and outs of all social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Snapchat.

  • Experienced in working in media and marketing communications (social, search, campaigns) and budget management.

  • Confident in presenting, understanding consumer insights.

  • A solution-oriented collaborator, who loves working as part of a team, and partners with colleagues on day-to-day projects. You’re not only dedicated, but down-to-earth and easy to get along with.

  • Someone who takes initiative and meets deadlines, excellent time management skills are a must, and you appreciate organization and planning.

  • Passionate about cars (automotive) and luxury.

Desired skills and experience

Content Development

  • Social Media: Develop and execute a social media strategy that increases reach through followers, provides exciting/relevant branded content; manage the agency that manages our social channels on a daily basis (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, X [Twitter], YouTube, LinkedIn); manage any social media issues/crises by working with other departments; manage the content on owned Audi Canada social channels; work with customer relations to address customer issues on social media.

  • Advertising Campaigns: Support campaign development, and work on communication assets to convey the communication of brand and product in external digital platforms.

  • Social Influencers: Work with agency partners to identify and utilize social influencers to amplify our brand message to their audiences; includes hosting and meeting influential people (e.g. celebrities, thought leaders, etc.)

  • Digital Campaigns: Work with the digital platform team to direct content for audi.ca, configurator (website and mobile), my Audi, and all other digital sales applications for Audi Canada sources from Audi HQ.

    • Build relations with key internal partners, AUDI AG, and Agency partners.

    • Be a key contact for media expertise at Audi Canada to provide directional support to other Audi departments in their digital marketing efforts, i.e. Aftersales, Product, New/Used car sales, etc.

    • Leveraging events, sponsorships and other experiential marketing activities in the social media and digital channels

Media

  • Media Execution: The execution of media campaigns for the brand ensuring campaign and brand KPIs are set and achieved; optimizes the media channel mix (e.g. TV, outdoor, magazines, display, social, experiential, etc.) for both effectiveness and efficiency; an enabler to earned media, parenting with PR manager.

  • Media Optimization: Using ever-changing media technology to find ways to reduce media costs, increase media effectiveness, and target consumers more tightly every time.

  • Media Innovation: Find creative ways that make Audi standout within the Canadian market through media solutions.

  • Agency Management: Day-to-day management of the media agency to develop campaigns, evaluate results, manage administration of the budget/fees/team hours, etc.; keep media & agency accountable to their outputs.

  • Global Headquarters: Work closely with central global team to complete regular reports on a timely basis, and implement recommended campaign media tactics.

  • NAR/AoA: Work closely with Audi of America media team members to share best practices, and find media optimization opportunities.

  • Metrics and KPIs: Strong focus on managing and reporting on key metrics for platforms and campaigns.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree recommended

  • Marketing communications or business background
