Joining a hybrid work environment, the Associate Media Director will develop relationships with clients, by applying a holistic understanding of their business objectives, and translate them into action through media. The role of Associate Media Director is an integral position at the agency, as it sets the tone for elevated levels of client service and effective media strategies.
Reporting to the Group Head, Media. You will be responsible for leading successful outcomes and managing the day-to-day needs of a portfolio of clients. As part of a truly integrated structure, you will work hand in hand with many internal stakeholders across departments including – Media Planning, Performance Media, Account Service, Creative, Strategy, Consumer Experience and PR.
You will excel in this position if you bring a highly organized and structured media approach, but also get excited about building outcomes and pitching fresh new ideas or processes.

Build trust and relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Lead media strategy across your client portfolio in a hands-on capacity
Overseeing junior team members, prioritizing workloads, maximizing utilization
Maintain direct oversight of client-facing work and organize the team to accomplish required outcomes and meet deadlines.
Partner with creatives, account teams, and project managers to foster holistic thinking and seamless execution. Assist with scoping projects, estimating fees, developing timelines, and ad specs.
Strong negotiator and able to carefully evaluate vendor proposals and opportunities.
6 -12 years experience in media and digital advertising with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results and being a great team member.
Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to speak simply about complex media and digital tactics.
Ability to build trust with clients and teammates through your leadership abilities.
High level of knowledge and experience in all aspects of digital media; specifically, within programmatic, social, and search and across different objectives
Strong analytical skills to make discoveries based on data.
Ability to merge analytical thinking with creative solutions and problem-solving.
Experienced with vendor-direct RFP's and negotiations
Strong verbal and written communicator who can clearly communicate media approaches and results in a simple way.
The ability to lead media process from brief to billing.
